The Gladewater Opry
Annual Christmas Show
Get the whole family into the holiday spirit at the Gladewater Opry’s yearly Christmas show. This spectacular event features over a half-dozen bands and musicians, along with a visit from Santa Claus for the little ones. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. on December 21. Tickets cost $10.
Luke LaPrade Live
If you’re looking for a fun way to fill the gap between the Christmas and New Year’s festivities, check out this live performance by rising country music star Luke LaPrade. He’ll be performing at The Central Station Brick & Brew on December 27 at 7:30 p.m.
New Year’s Eve
For a night of fun, food, and classic tunes, head to the Antique Capital RV Park on New Year’s Eve. This year, the New Year’s Eve Celebration will feature country music, ‘50s and ‘60s rock ‘n’ roll, and the comedy of Carol Swanson. Enjoy dinner at 7:00 p.m., and live entertainment begins at 8:00 p.m. The festivities run until midnight. Tickets cost $35, and RV parking will be offered at a reduced rate.

If you’re in the mood for some music on the weekends, check out the Saturday Night Opry. Every Saturday night, step out from the summer air into The Gladewater Opry, which hosts different country music acts every week. It’s a great way to support local musicians.
Gladewater Round Up Rodeo
Founded by Jack Yates back in 1937, the Gladewater Rodeo Round-Up is a weekend packed with rodeo events June 6-9. It’s family-friendly, too, with a children’s event called Mutton Bustin’, where young kids can practice their rodeo skills.
Freedom and Fireworks Celebration
Celebrate Independence Day by adventuring out to Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Center in Longview for Freedom and Fireworks Celebration. This Fourth of July celebration has carnival rides, free music, a dog-themed fashion show, and fireworks.
Gladewater Art & Wine Stroll
The Gladewater Art & Wine Stroll takes place downtown on August 10, where you can see different art exhibits throughout shops and try wine from local wineries. Enter into a drawing for a gift basket. Though there’s wine, this event is family-friendly!
